**Skyhawks Pickleball | Ages 5-7 | PJCC Foster City** Introduce your child to the fastest-growing sport in America! Skyhawks Pickleball is a perfect after-camp activity for Camp Keff families—easy to learn, fun to play, and great for building hand-eye coordination. **What Your Child Will Learn** Our 6-week curriculum covers all the essentials: serving, forehand and backhand strokes, volleys, court positioning, and game rules. We use kid-friendly paddles and low-compression balls designed for young players. **Class Structure (45 min)** Each session includes a life skill lesson (respect, sportsmanship), active warm-up, skill demonstration, partner drills, and fun games like "Hit the Target" and "Pickle-Baseball." Every class ends with a team huddle. **Details** - **Location:** PJCC Pickleball Court - **Dates:** Tuesdays, June 23 - July 28 (6 sessions) - **Time:** 4:15 - 5:00 PM - **Price:** $159 - **Max 8 kids per coach** **What to Bring:** Athletic shoes (court shoes preferred), water bottle, sunscreen, comfortable clothes. **Why Pickleball?** Pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong on a smaller court—perfect for younger players. The slower ball speed and underhand serves make it accessible for beginners while still providing a great workout. **About Skyhawks** Our trained, background-checked coaches make learning fun. PJCC staff will escort Camp Keff participants to class.
