Skyhawks Basketball | Ages 5-7 | PJCC Foster City The after-school hour on the court. Skyhawks Basketball introduces young athletes to the game through fun drills, skill-building games, and positive coaching — and with ten weeks, there's real time to build something. WHAT YOUR CHILD WILL LEARN Each week focuses on a core skill: dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, and game play. Over ten weeks we go from first touches to friendly scrimmages, so kids finish the season playing the actual game. No experience needed — we meet every child where they are. CLASS STRUCTURE (60 MINUTES) Every session follows our proven format: welcome circle with a life skill lesson (respect, teamwork, perseverance), dynamic warm-up, skill demonstration, practice drills, fun skill games, and a team huddle to celebrate what we learned. DETAILS Location: PJCC Upstairs Gymnasium Dates: Mondays, October 5 - December 14 Time: 3:45 - 4:45 PM Sessions: 10 (no class November 23-27, Thanksgiving week) Price: $199 Class size: Maximum 8 athletes WHAT TO BRING Athletic shoes, water bottle, comfortable clothes. ALREADY IN TREEHOUSE? If your child is enrolled in Treehouse, Treehouse staff will walk them over to class. No extra pickup for you. ABOUT SKYHAWKS Since 1979, Skyhawks has taught over 2 million kids life skills through sports. Our background-checked coaches specialize in beginner instruction, building confidence in a supportive environment. We use a "Whole-Part-Whole" teaching method — show the skill, break it down, then apply it in games.
