Skyhawks Flag Football | Ages 5-7 | PJCC Foster City Touchdown. Skyhawks Flag Football is a high-energy, non-contact introduction to football fundamentals — a great way to burn off a school day out on the field. WHAT YOUR CHILD WILL LEARN Our ten-week curriculum covers the essentials: ball handling and grip, throwing mechanics, catching techniques, running routes, flag pulling on defense, and basic plays. No tackling — just flags, fun, and fundamentals. The longer season means kids finish running real plays, not just drills. CLASS STRUCTURE (60 MINUTES) Each session starts with a life skill lesson (respect, teamwork, leadership), followed by a dynamic warm-up, skill of the day demonstration, practice drills like "Zig Zag Run" and "Quick Pitch," then games including "Offense vs. Defense" scrimmages. We finish with a team huddle. DETAILS Location: PJCC Field Dates: Wednesdays, October 7 - December 16 Time: 3:45 - 4:45 PM Sessions: 10 (no class November 23-27, Thanksgiving week) Price: $199 Class size: Maximum 8 athletes WHAT TO BRING Athletic shoes or cleats, water bottle, comfortable clothes. This class is outdoors — please send a sweatshirt or light jacket as the season cools. Flags and footballs provided. SAFE AND FUN Flag football teaches all the excitement of football — routes, plays, teamwork — without contact. Great for first-timers and future stars alike. ALREADY IN TREEHOUSE? If your child is enrolled in Treehouse, Treehouse staff will walk them over to class. No extra pickup for you.
